Meet our Team

Joe Koster, ChFC®, RICP®, RLP®

Joe has over two decades of experience in investment and wealth management, overseeing investment portfolios as well as analyzing both public and private investment opportunities. He is responsible for managing the investments in client accounts and the financial planning process. Joe grew up in Northeast Ohio and currently lives in Chardon with his wife, Diane, and their two children. In his free time, Joe enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and the occasional round of golf. He is also the editor of the Value Investing World Newsletter.

Theresa Pfiester

Originally from Northeast Ohio, Theresa honed her client service skills by spending about a decade in various departments at The Ballantyne Hotel, a luxury hotel located in Charlotte, NC, where her last position at the hotel was overseeing the operations at Ballantyne Golf Academy as the Academy Director. She is responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients. Theresa joined Sorfis in April 2021 and lives in Novelty with her family.
